Veterans Day is an annual United States holiday honoring
military veterans. It is a federal holiday that is observed on November 11. It
is also celebrated as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day in other parts of the
world and falls on November 11, the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice
that ended World War I. (Major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at
the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 with the German signing
of the Armistice.)

Question:  What is the best way that we can honor our veterans? Think of creative ideas that would show appreciation, or research some ways that people are already celebrating.

Question:  It's the end of the trimester, and I will be meeting with your parents soon and going over report cards.  Thinking of the last several months, what is one thing you have excelled at, or felt good about, and what is one thing that you think you could work on for next trimester?  Think about everything that is on your report cards -- skills and behaviors.
